Easy Valentine's T-shirts

Ok, what can I say... I'm a sucker for holiday T-Shirts!

I bought $3 t-shirts at Walmart and some digital designs (you can use the designs in Mircrosoft Word, Photoshop Elements, etc)

I printed out the design on Iron T-Shirt paper, ironed it on and viola... a fun little shirt for my cute valentine!

If you make this project be sure to read the t-shirt iron directions closely.

And the best part... using digital designs is super easy and makes the t-shirts way more affordable than buying them in the store!

a random list of gratitudes...

Journaling is a blog post from 2007... I came across it the other day day and liked the quirky list and thought it would be fun to record with some pictures from that year.

Journaling:

A few random things I'm grateful for, in addition to all the really important stuff...

1. For a husband, who despite all my... ideas, projects and roadtrips... that in some sort or
another causes him stress... loves me anyway.

2. For the chance that I've had to live in Utah, Hawaii, Jerusalem, Louisiana, Washington and Texas... for the
people that I've met who have changed my life. I wouldn't trade these experiences for a million dollars.

3. For all the good people that I'm lucky enough to have as friends...

4. For doctors and modern science

5. For a hobby that I absolutely adore and that makes me a better person!

6. Technology... email, DVR, Ipods and digital cameras... oh how I love technology!

7. My family. I am so incredibly incredibly blessed.

8. For phone calls from sisters

9. For a fridge that is so full stuff is falling out

10. For elbows, thumbs, big toes and all the other magical things that just are that make my life good.

I’m so blessed... I want to remember to express gratitude to my Heavenly Father each and every day!

October Month in Review

The Ettes have a new Calendar kit available... really cute and a great gift for Christmas!

Instead of doing a traditional calendar I used this calendar kit to make a scrapbook page that goes with a photo college that reviews our month... I don't scrapbook chronologically but I do like the idea of a chronological review of our month and this calendar/collage system seems to be a good solution! I'm going to go back and do this for the whole year and just slip in my album.
